Sticker charts?
You could use a 'reward system' for going to the toilet on the potty.
Let them get involved in the making of the chart and let each boy have his own. Put it up on a wall in the kitchen and explain that every time they sit on the potty and do 'wees' or 'poos' (or whatever you guys call it!) then they get to come and put a sticker on their chart...just buy some cheap colourful stickers from a $2 shop.
Explain to them that when their chart is full (you should probably start off with a day or two) then they get a reward. This could be anything like a trip to the park, a lolly - whatever they absolutely love that can be used as a 'bargaining tool'. Then as they get the hang of it you could lengthen the days that they have to use the potty before they get a reward.
Also, a thing that worked for us was to make a huge big deal (call grandparents, call daddy at work, dance, sing, hip hip hooray) when the do something...children love to please and if they get a reward like mummy dancing around the room jumping for joy...all the better!!!
Good luck:fingerscrossed:
