medication while breast feeding

Hey all i have a bladder infection and the doctor gave me a script for trimethoprim. how is that while breastfeeding. i only feed him twice a day. he is 13 months

Did you tell your GP you are b/f? Mine usually checks the safety on his computer, then makes sure i have the mothersafe phone no : NSW Country areas contact 1800 647 848 so I can check for myself!
