Acupuncture induction - practitioner recommendations north brisbane

Hi :)

I'm currently 5 days overdue with bub no. 2, and saw the midwife this morning. She has booked me in to be induced in 1 week (next Friday), but I am totally freaking out!!!

I'm looking for an acupuncturist in the North Brisbane area (I live in Albany Creek) - can anyone recommend a good one who has had success with inducing labour??

I'm really keen to give it a go, but don't want to go to just anyone, I'd rather see one who deals with this a lot...

There is someone at Jamboree Heights who has excellent success rates inducing labour.

A little bit away from you but he does have extensive experience and is pretty good. I've sent a number of my clients to see him :)

How about just not showing up for the induction? Induction is induction regardless of whether it's done using pharmaceutical medication or natural methods. Babies will come when they're ready.

Sorry I can't recommend any of these personally, but I have discussed the subject with my local acupuncturist previously, but he is at Westlake.

I can recommend someone I saw for my morning sickness, he is so lovely, an ex midwife but he is on the southside (Tarragindi)

We used Maria at AcuMed Ascot. Actually she turned my breech baby with acupuncture. Then I went back for induction.

She knows so much about the whole baby making thing. My contractions got going about 2 hours after the treatment then I went back for another session 2 days later and everything went pretty quickly from then.
