I was wondering if any mums have any feed back in regards to Melbourne modelling agencies? Who they are with, good or bad experiences with agencies.

My 6 month old was accepted into Munchkins, Tinlids and Bayside Modelling. I was leaning towards Munchkins or Tinlids but looking at getting any feedback good or bad in regards to these agencies before I choose. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Nikki:)

no worries...tinlids is $250 a year, bayside $352 ( but you get 6 emailled pics included in the price) and munchkins $415 a year.

you get paid about the same per job with all agencies $95 an hour for photographic work and most agencies will take 20%

Hi Nikki, I've done plenty of research on modelling agencies as we are going down that road ourselves and one of the agencies that stuck out was Bayside..in a positive way. Have you done a search in the bubhub site yet?? There is so much great information. Good luck with your choice.

I was with Tin Lids for 1yr and on meeting Caroline who owns the Agency, I thought what a lovely lady.
A year later I have not heard from her at all, or been sent for 1 casting.
I have done modelling myself and know that you should get sent to a castings even if you dont get the job, at the end of the day it is up to the client not the agent BUT the agent needs to get work to be able to send you for jobs.
I do not recomend this agency at all.
I have called myer and target to ask which agency they recommend.
I am looking into other agents now. A friend has recommened a smaller agency that she gets alot of work through.

My Daughter has been with Munchkins for 2 years now, and they are absolutely fantastic. You can email them at anytime and amazingly they respond straight away. My Daughter is nearly 6 years old, and has has several jobs each year. They are very honest and don't accept everyone. They really are fantastic girls representing a fantastic Agency.

Good luck finding the right one. :)

STAY AWAY FROM TINLIDS!!!! Caroline is wonderful when you meet her but after the initial meet and handing over the money i never heard from her again. I would call, email, whatever and she never returned any of them. We were never sent top a casting and never recieved the so called news letters each month. Munchkins and bayside siubd like much more reptuable agencies.

Hi, I ended up going with Tinlids....and in the year i only got one phone call from caroline.... it was for a TV commercial and no she didnt get the part. i agree caroline was a lovely lady but it was all a front! she said she doesnt take everyone on but i reckon she does. I emailled all the time and after about 6 months she never wrote back to me. In hind sight i should of gone with muchkins. But then again at the photo shoot for her profile page i got some great photos of sienna to keep.
