When does it stop

The urge to have a baby that is.......I had my 5th baby almost 10 weeks ago.....and the urge to have another baby astounds me!
After i had my 4th baby i was content for a while.....i mean i knew i wanted another baby....just not straight away......but this time...
I love the whole bit......the pregnancy, labour/birth, sleepless nights, terrible 2's etc! Even in the middle of a bad day i can still say yes i want more kids!
But my dh has said no more:(.....he is at his limit....which i will respect......and i am so greatful for the 5 beautiful kids i do have.
So when does this feeling stop? Or doesnt it?

Well i don't think we ever get the urge to stop - babies are a blessing from god and they are the most precious thing any human being can create. But at baby number 5 i would say just wait a bit - LOL after all baby # 5 is only 10 weeks old... I too want more kids and i actually want 5 kids - so i have 3 more to make - lol

I too was worried about this. My DD was the most unsettled baby! I hadn't the slightest idea what I was doing - I was a mess! But 6 weeks after she was born, there I was, pining for another baby! It had taken us a long, long time to fall pregnant with her, so we weren't using any contraception & when she was 7 months old, we fell pregnant with DS.

At first everything was perfect & DH & I were still on course to have at least one more bub, but wanted a bit more of a gap.

However, having 2 boisterous, quarrelsome, highly-strung, very demanding toddlers has quelled both of our desires to keep going at this stage!! It does sadden me, as I really would love to have at least one more baby, but I honestly just don't think I'd cope with a #3 at this stage. So we're giving it some time.....

I do still get very clucky when I see a pregnant woman though. :( So I don't know if that feeling will ever go away!

I don't know but for me it's now. I have the urge to stop right now! I'm actually looking forward to doing what I want to do in regards to study etc... I'm over having kids and although I promised dh that we'll think about it in another 8 yrs or so....I'm really not feelin' it at all! I've had my fill...finally!
