Fever/flu?

I'm in week 23. I've had blocked nose and huge headache for the last few days...I dont know whether I actually had a fever or not...but it FELT like I did...I called my obs and he suggested that I take panadol to help with the symptoms.

Do you know whether a fever/flu would effect my bubs??? just wondering and am a little concerned :dizzy:

so far ive had x2 cold/chest infections during my pg and im currently 38wks.

First one i had was about 24-25wks and then again at 36wks. Both times started off with head cold which went into my chest.

I went to see my GP and also discussed it with my middies and they said i COULD have antibiotics to help the infection clear up quicker but they didnt really like the idea. I decided not to have any medication apart from Panadol and plenty of rest & fluids and it passed within a week(ish).

There are antibiotics that are classed as "safe" during pg but i would stil rather avoid them unless i was VERY ill and it was doing harm to my baby.

But my middies and GP both told me having a simple head cold wouldnt affect bubs at all, but everyone is different.

If your worried contact ur GP or ur middies and discuss it with them.
