WOW!! The first of "Due in June"rs has arrived!

Leisha (Stu's Chick) had a baby boy, Drew Anthony Jayse, Born via emergancy C-section at 2:15pm. Weight 5pd 2oz. Drew is currently in special care, as he needs help with his breathing otherwise he is doing ok.

Leisha is exhausted after being in labour all night but is doing okay. (Thanks to Mummyof2 in the General Chat section for the news)

Welcome Mackenzie Eliseborn 2/6/06 @ 20:22 weighing in at 3.1kg, 46.5cm long, beautiful light brown hair and indigo blue eyes.

APGAR 9 and 9, lost 145gms by day 2 but gained 165 at this mornings weigh in before coming home :)

A lovely vaginal birth with only some pethadine. I am going up to sleep now (while she is sleeping) but will post more soon.

Congratulations to the new mothers! Enjoy that special first few days with your bub, and that lovely non-PG feeling. It all goes so fast! and you can never say they are only one day old again :crying:
My oldest is 10 on 12/6, and can't believe how the time has flown, and I was 21 and DH was 24, bringing him home absolutely terrified ( we're too young to do this!). Now due in 11 days (18/6) for number 6 :eek: the feeling is almost the opposite.

Hi Everyone,

This has been my first chance to post!! :D I've been hanging out!!!!

Adia Jane, Born 12/06, 1.26pm, 7lb 9oz (3.440kg)

A few days earlier than expected, but with Agpar of 10/10 and a 10 hour labour, I am not complaining!! What a perfectly adorable little girl, if I do say so myself :thumbsup:

When I get some time (ha) I will post my labour story. Needless to say as a first time Mum it was definitely an eye opener about my strength as a woman and the whole wonder of nature etc.

And a quick Hello To the fantastic Dr Mincham at St John of God in Murdoch, WA, who was my Ob/Gyn and was a very calming presence at her birth.

Good luck all the June Mums still waiting. Your life will never be the same. Oh yeah, and it IS true - get ALLL the sleep you can now tehe :sleeping:

Congratulations to everyone!!!

I haven't posted for ever such a long time but thought I would update as to our EARLY arrival:

HEATH ANGUS born @ Pindara Private (Gold Coast) on 03/06/06 @ 12.10am 6lb 13oz (3110 gm) 53cm long, Head 34cm.

Our Heath wasn't due until yesterday (26/6/06) but didn't want to wait any longer. Very quick in the end so very lucky I guess.

Scary thing was that I didn;t even know I was in Labour, having contractions or dialating! - A little scary.

Anyway. Again, well done all the mummies that have delivered and all the love & warm wishes to you and your babies. Can't wait to hear about the rest that are yet to arrive.

Just thought it was about time I let you all know about our arrival.

Aeryn Monique was born on 7/06/06 at 11.25am with a vacuum assisted delivery. Her heart rate was dropping and they needed to get her out ASAP (once out they discovered that she had her cord wrapped around her neck twice and around an arm as well). Everything was fine once she was out (Agpars of 9). She weighed in at 3.825kg (8lb 6oz). She's a lovely little thing and doing very well. She's a little piggy when it comes to feeding and now weighs 4.97kg (10.96lbs) at 4 weeks.

hi everyone thought i would just pop in and see how everything is going jack is doing beautifully and elly just adores him although she has gone away for a week to her pops place at the sunny coast so she is stoaked about that took jack to the docs on monday to cheak up on his weight and am happy to say he has put on over 300 grams and his jaundice is gone now so every thing is great well bye for now

what a beautiful name! :D Qila had her cord wrapped around her neck 3 times! but the midwives didn't even seem worried about it!

it's so exciting seeing all of the births we've had in June! :D hopefully we'll hear from some of the others who haven't been back online yet, i'm very interested in hearing how their births went, too! is anyone in contact with them at all??

Hi all

Just a quick update as our computer blew up and I currently have no access. Hubby working from home today so using his!

Georgie doing very well. Put on 400g in week and half . Just got her weighed again and there is 300g in 1 week so I think I am producing enough milk.!!!!

Sleeping as well as can be expected.

Congrats to all and I will hopefully be back on line soon.

Hi and congrats all on your new bundles.
I am new to the group and thought I would let you know that I had my ds on the 13th June at 5.08am. He wasn't due till the 29th June. We named him Justin Connor. 5lb 10. 49.5cms long 33cms hc. Apgars 9/10. Born by C-Section and had tubes done at the same time. He is my 5th and last child.
