Please tell me this gets better!

I am recently single, mum of a 16 month old beautiful little girl ... another one on the way due the end of April. I have moved back to my parents and just feel so guilty for taking my daughters dad off of her. Like i mean he cheated so it was his fault but my parents hate him and dont want him in the house ??? I dont drive and figure here is best for my daughter. He doesnt pay child support ... yet ... and thinks the baby in my belly isnt his ... it is ... i just dont know what to do ... i am only 20 and feel alone and just want to cry all day but hold it together so my daughter doesnt notice. Anyone have the same situation?

I didn't have the same situation, was single since the father found out I was pregnant, so I have done it without his support at all, but I have had total support of my family.

I returned back to my parents house when I was near the end of my pregnancy (not easy at all, when you haven't lived with them for 10 years and you are 30 years old Lol!!).

Don't feel that things will always be hard, you are going through a major change in your life. I would recommend speaking with a councellor somewhere (other mums may advise where to get free help), get a good support network - are your family supportive? Go and get some legal advice (ring Legal Aid - they will give you free legal aid) to give you some idea what to do next re the father of you children.

I'm sorry I can't be much more help but :hugs: to you. You will get through it, I can imagine it will be a very stressful time for you. TRY at least to stay strong, and somehow find some time in your day to relax, because you are pregnant, and don't want any further stress whilst you are.

Give you daughter lots of cuddles and reassurance that everything is ok, even when they are not ok. Kids are very perceptive, all you can do is reassure her that you love her and that you are there for her.

I hope it all works out, let us know how you go...good luck x
