Today bub has been VERY quiet... I think he has or will make the magical 10 movement mark for today, but just.
His movements arent sharp, just a strong push here and there....
Is this normal for this stage?
I was also told it might be a sign that he isnt far off coming... any ideas?

Hi Chic
Wow! It sounds to me like you might be a mummy soon, not a mummy-2-b  I remember, in the last few days, the moevements I felt were like a gentle to firm push more than a kick or sharp movement. I think it has to do with bub not having as much room to move around.
I didn't check your signature - what's your due date?

firstly, congratulations!!! :D
DS started doing this about two weeks before he was born.
first time it happened i freaked oout and went to the hospital and got the big belly belt monitor thingy on. he was fine, and i felt much relieved.
if you are really worried, then i would suggest doing the same thing.
but more than likely he's just saving his energy for the big day. :hugs:

This happened at the end of my pregnancy too. Some days Id sit there and concentrate on it all day counting every moment. I think the reason is they have no room to move, so the moments are limited. If you are worried though do ring your midwife or go in. It'll put your mind at ease. Good luck with it.

Bub is moving more now - still the same push or shove tho... no real kicks...
Getting massive pain in my bum, like ive bruised my tailbone tho... Thinking that bubs head might be heading down that way and causing not alot of room!!!!!
Thanks everyone for putting my mind at rest... As i was writing this bub pushed about 3 times in a row...so he is doing fine!
