Hi Mums..

My handsome DS is 8 months and is being FF. He is having 4 bottle feeds a day with three these foods with solids.

6.30am- bottle ( 200mls) and solids

11.30- bottle ( 200mls) and solids

3- bottle (150mls) and snack

6- bottle ( 200mls) and solids.

The afternoon meal at 3pm he seem to be eating less of. Is this the right age for them to start dropping this bottle? Will he slowly decrease how much he drinks?

By what age should i expect DS to be having only 3 bottles a day?

Thanks for your help.

I know its diffent for ff babies and bf babies, and I breastfeed, but from memory this was about the age that DD decided to drop her 4th and 5th breastfeeds of the day - she was eating solids well, too (as with your little boy), and was clearly getting enough milk out of 3 feeds a day.

The only thing that I found was that she'd want more water in a cup after she dropped those feeds.

Sorry couldn't be of more help!
