View Full Version : Getting rid of Mozzies...the child safe way???
Is there such a way?
We live close to the beach and have never really had a mozzie problem but this summer, they're out in force and we're getting eaten alive every night!!!
I spray all of our rooms with fly spray when ever I know we'll be out for a while but I'm not thrilled about the idea if leaving a toxic residue over everything.
Is there are baby safe way to get rid of mozzies???
We're scratching ourselves silly! :hissy:

I use a robocan, an automated spray can with natural pyrethrins (that coul be good:confused:) Sprays every 5 mins, very fine and not noticeable. Kills flies, mozzies, any insects. I love it!!!!! I know when it is running low cause I start to hear that buzz round my head at night:laughing:
70 initial outlay and about 25.00 for refills asts 6 weeks.
Had ours for a few years now and wouldn't use anything else.
Hope you get rid of them
Thanks Mitake. I'm willing to give anything a go. I know that 'buzz around your head' at night very well indeed! It drives me nuts! :hair:
From the mozzie/fly spray aisle at the shops you can get these little plug in things that go into the wall, and then you put little mozzie pads in there. Cobey would get eaten alive by mozzies, but when I put those in and the bites cleared you could tell the nights i forgot to turn it on.
Worked wonders :)

 When I lived in QLD near the beach these are what we used to use and we never had a problem with mozzies or sandflies again.
They are definately worth the $10, no smell, no sprays, no mozzies :D
