Any good Hens night ideas?

A friend of mine is getting married soon, but has specified that she want strictly NO **** and balls at the hens night. A few of our friends were saying how boring it was going to be, but to tell the truth im not really interested in seeing naked men myself.

so has anyone had a really great time without the male strippers? I feel obliged to prove the men crazy friends wrong.

I haven't been to a hens night/bachelorette party with strippers involved in years upon year... I actually thought it was the thing not to do now :o Hens days I have been to recently are Days at the Races, pampering days, high teas, pole dancing sessions and quite a few dinners with drinks

Thats what i thought too! i've been to a couple of Hight Teas too, and then onto clubs...

I dont think strippers are as popular as they used to be..well not at the hens nights i've been to..

I went to one where it was a pole dancing lesson..:laughing: sooo much fun...and hillarious watching the brides future MIL working the pole! lol
recently i've been to, pamper sessions, taro readings, cooking classes, belly dancing lessons (the bride to be was pregnant hillarious!!), dinner and drinks...
How to seems to be the in thing lately..and gettin oh so very drunk LOL

no im not into strippers either... like others have said high tea, clubbing ( im not into that either hehehe) pole dancing, what about going on one of those party busses around the city or dinner on a cruise boat or dinner and drinks out??

I didnt have any strippers at my hens night. Personally i think male strippers are a turn off! I had dinner at a nice place with all my friends and my mum/grandma, aunties etc and we had a theme (hot pink and black) and we played a few funny games (pass the parcel- all presents were funny things u had to wear like pink gloves, head boppers, huge plastic beads etc. A game where everyone had to draw a pic of me on my wedding day...but they had to draw it on top of their heads.)
Afterwards we got a mini bus to take me and my friends to a club/bar/restaurant where we danced the night away.

If u google hens nights there are lots of suggestions and links to companies that specialise in hens night ideas/planning.

last one i went to was a pub crawl/treasure hunt/games night.
We got on a bus and went to a pub where we had to collect things, we went to a park and played egg and spoon races and then the beach where the couple first kissed.. we had quizes and games on the bus and then ended up at another pub for dinner.
It was a good night. I don't like the idea of strippers, I can't handle too much excitement anymore!

Someone mentioned that you can get a 'puppetry of the penis' guy to come out to you to do a mini show. I figure that would be much more fun than a regular stripper :laughing:
