ok i have a 3 day course coming up in february. DD will be 6 months old but i wont be able to take her with me. i get a half hour break these days so i can express in that time and she'll still feed as normal other than that. my question is will this have a significant negative on my milk supply? i'd hate for it to dry up or diminish from it because i dont want to stop or supplement it at all.
thanks to anyone who replies.

You might find baby will make up for your absence by wanting to bf all night. Don't be surprised. I found that when I resumed work with a bf'd bub.

Will you get a morning/afternoon tea break as well as a lunch break? Be careful you don't get painfully engorged.

If you don't express as much as bub would drink, or if bub doesn't feed extra after you get back, you supply could drop a bit until it gets back to normal.

i will get a 15 minute morning tea break too so i will be able to express then too. i hope she feeds more at night to compensate for it. its only for 3 days and then any classes i hold for work the kids will be able to be there with me.
