Ok so i have decided to convert to cloth nappies and so far have tried Peapods because that was all our local baby shop carried but i loved them! Even though the first thing she did was poop in it!

I am wanting to try some other brands before splurging on a bulk pack, however my DP says i can only purchase two different trial packs. Its all so confusing trying to figure out what is best so my question is what trial packs do you recommend?

Why don't you try a mixed trial pack? A few of the online stores do a mixes pack that have all different sorts in them, to help you have a try before you buy. Nurture nappies, baby blossom, darlings downunder are just a few. I hope that helps.

By far, without a doubt...itti bitti's (d'lish's) you won't be disappointed. :D
ETA: You'd be looking at $155 for a 6 pack of all-in-one's.

:iagree: Then you can have a look at and try out one of each kind of nappy and can always later swap out the ones you don't like on BH in exchange for the ones you DO like.

I, personally, did a similar thing. I did research on nappies and brought individually on special first and tried them out and then just brought more o the ones I liked.

I personally didn't like Itti Bittis, so really it is a very personal choice, its difficult to know what you will like until you try it out.

I second DO TRY the itti bitti d'lish - this is the only day nappy I use. The other brands are my backups.

The Nurture Nappies trial pack looks great.

I'd recommend an Itti Bitti trial pack, not a 6 pack. They don't work for everybody. The trial pack is only around $50 I think.

The Itti trial pack is good value as it gives you the 2 types of their nappies. They do one called an sewn-in-one and the other one is a snap-in-one. You really do need to see them and try the 2 different types out before buying a bulk pack.

I found that the snap-in-one suited us as it was more absorbant (has more layers of bamboo than the sewn-in-one) and it dries much quicker because you can pull all the bits apart. it doesn't take long to snap them all back together at the end of the day. I find them nice and trim for underneath clothes and they look lovely just worn with a t-shirt in summer.

Itti's have good resale value and are also very swoppable! So if you decide that you don't like them you can swop them on BH for the type you do like. I ended up swopping my sewn-in Itti for a snap-in with someone here on BH.

Goodluck - the choice is huge and it is such an expensive decision, but once you find the one's you like it'll be worth it!

i purchased a "pocket" trial pack from darlings downunder - if i remember correctly it was about $80 for 4 different types of pockets, good to give a go if you are not sure.
