I changed from Tritace (ramipril) to Labetalol when I was TTC/Pregnant with/Breastfeeding both my kiddies:)

My GP put me on labetalol when my BP became a problem after DS. It got me through my pregnancy with DD.
Having had PE with DS and chronic high BP which kicked in a couple of years after I've got the meds down now.
The two most commonly used are labetolol and aldomet (methyldopa i think is it's drug name). I've been on both but had problems with the aldomet after DS was born (can cause depression i found out). There is also another drug they gave me when I had the PE which was nifedipine but I think that tend to use that more if the other two don't work and need immediate results.
There's also a website specifically for Preeclampsia and blood pressure problems in pregnancy called the Preeclampsia Foundation . I found some invaluable information there.
Good luck.
