Hi my little girl is 1 in march. I know its a few months away but it is the start of march and i thought i better start looking at presents for her. I have NO idea what to get her! Boys are so much easier for boys.
So im asking all you lovely ladies what was the BEST present your one year old girl got...or boy if its unisex. And something they would get alot of use out of!
TIA

The best present my One year old got was her shell sandpit/pool!! she loves it!!
Noisy toys are always a winner as well.
the simple toys often are the most loved. My ds loved his stacking blocks, shape cube, hammer and blocks and the biggest hit was his bath toy. it is this small surf board with rings that stack on top of it.
have fun!
we gave him a parent push bike that is useful and i think those shells that you can fill up with water and sand would be great too!

Thanks quaver. I agree sometimes the simplest toys are best. We got her a fisherprice peek a boo playdome for christmas and her and my 3 year old boy are in it ALL day! they both love it!

One of those ride on car/bike things.... or even the ones that can convert through the stages iykwim.
Or a tea set? or musical instruments! :D
A kid can never have too many books! Board books for littlies, so they can't tear the pages.
My bub's still only 6 months but that's what we'll be getting her for her first bday. Maybe a little toy or two but books will be plentiful
There's a fab book called 'Where is the green sheep?' by Mem Fox. We're reading that book before bedtime at the moment.

Thanks for your replies everyone.
DS and her got really good bathtoys for christmas, and she got a tambourine and a microphone aswell (very spoilt and lots of people buy from them  lol)
I like the idea of a teaset. i think you can get a fisher price muiscal one that ive heard people rave about so i might have to keep a look out for that! I agree books are great might get her a few of those too, DS has heaps but his books are his lol.
Thanks again.
I just brought my dd for her first birthday a really pretty jewelerry box with the ballerina that plays music, its something I had growing up and I thought its better than giving her more plastic junk! and next year for her birthday I will buy her a bracelet or something to go in it along with her other jewelerry givin to her at birth.

My DD just turned 1 and we bought her a Eurotrike, it is fabulous! I would advise against buying dolls as my DD received 9 dolls for her birthday, however she is the first girl out of 5 grandkids.
