I've recently discovered that there are tops for b/f (yes I must be living under a rock!). So anyway it's all a bit overwhelming with all the choices out there. So my questions are what is the best type and where is the cheapest place to get them new? I checked out ebay but there is just so much there I don't know where to start!

Thanks guys.:smiliedance:

have a look at some of the older threads. do a search for breastfeeding tops. i have a freshmoms top and a few glamourmom tops. the freshmoms is my favourite and cost me $50. you can get that one in long sleeve or tank or singlet style. the glamourmom one you can only get on ebay or the internet from america. but there are several stores in brisbane where you can get the freshmom tops. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I love breastfeeding tops! I bought some from a maternity shop and also saw some at David Jones but searching on ebay was best.
However there is a shop called Mummymatters which is based in NZ but I found their tops to be the cheapest (got some for about $20 in comparison to the other ones I bought for over $40). It's mostly Tshirt style tops (long sleeve and short sleeve and different designs)

You can have a look at them here:

Hope this helps and happy shopping! :D

I am a person who is shorter than some (160cm) and I found the glamourmum and freshmum tops too long for me. One of them came to my thighs! (Some of the baby shops in Brisbane stock them so I tried them on.)

I did get some tops from www.queenbee.com.au, which are lovely and I wear them all the time. It makes me feel confident enough to nurse in public if I have to.

I have also noticed that Myer (and DJ's?) stock Lovable maternity tops, which are tank top type things with manursing clips, 2 for about $55 I think.

Also the Australian Breastfeeding Association lists a few different ones on their website I think.

I have been most happy with Queen Bee ones though.

Just in relation to the Glamourmom tops you can buy these from Babies Galore. Do you have the Babies Galore chain in QLD?

My fave breastfeeding tops have been the Lovable maternity tanks - I wear these day in day out because they make it so easy and comfortable to feed without having to bare my fat stomach (still shifting the last of my baby weight).
