I have done some googling, but I would like to know your symptoms of Endo
I am having agonising period pain and it isn't getting any better (2 days now and getting worse) I am getting rather large blood clots also.
Thanks in advance!!

Endo is a funny thing ...
sometimes the symptoms dont mean much at all.
You can have really bad pains throughout your cycle, really heavy flow, constipation and other problems, all the symptoms in the world ... and only have slight endo
On the other hand some women (like me) had basically no symptoms (had heavy bleeding but that is pretty much it) but very bad endo ....
All you can do is wait to see your FS ... and talk to him if you suspect endo.
Are you ovulating? How long is your cycle? How old are you? Have you been having pains for long? Heavy bleeding? pains during your cycle. .....there is just so much

Hi Julie
Thankyou for your reply, I have just read your TTC journal and your battle with leukaemia and it had me in tears!! You're such a strong women to go through what your going through and you can still have a laugh, you are a strong women, and I am sending my best wishes for your health.
As for what you have asked
Are you ovulating? As far as I know, the blood tests I got back today confirmed Ovulation and I did get positive results on the OPK's that I used in my last cycle, so I guess I can say, yes I do ovulate.
How long is your cycle? average is 27 days
How old are you? 21 (22 in may)
Have you been having pains for long? Not this bad, this month I am curled up in a ball crying the pain is that bad. Last month only 1 day was bad, the others were fairly faint pains, nothing that I couldn't handle. Previous months over the last 4 months, I have had about 2 cycles in the last 4 where I have had horrible period pains.
Heavy bleeding? Yes and No. This cycle, day 1 - no, previous cycles yes, I experience what I consider to be heavy bleeding. I am however getting a lot of blood clots
pains during your cycle - nope not normally. This cycle I got pains from about 3DPO

Hi
How long have you been ttc'ng for?
I did o on my own - had a very regular cycle of 36 days, o'ing on cd27 every single time.
I didnt get any pains basically. Some minor pains on cd1 but nothing too much. No o pains.
My AF was quite heavy (which has caused me some problems with my issues now ) but otherwise no symptoms
But - when I went to see my FS on the first appt he did a scan and found a large fibroid cyst ... the size of a large grapefruit. So off to surgery I went for a Laparoscopy (lucky for me I was private and he was awesome so was 4 days later :D) ....
He found what he described as 'quite sever endo', cleared it (luckily not too many adhesions), but said my tubes were scared and nearly blocked and I would not be able to conceive naturally.
before going in, we had a basic plan that we would do cycle tracking (with blood tests to determine o) for 3 months before going to IVF. After the lap, he ask if we wanted to move up the IVF appt ... but it was only going to be by a month anyway as he was booked out .... clomid was pointless as I o'd by myself.. just egg wasnt getting through ..... so we decided on 3 months of tracking and made the appt to start the IVF process for 4 months time.
I fell pregnant on the 3rd month of tracking. My FS was amazed. Even after delivering my baby he was looking back at my records and wondering how the hell I fell pregnant ... and was I sure she was mine?
There is a window after a lap, where lots of women with endo conceive naturally - usually 3 - 6 months.
BUT - your endo is a long way from confirmed, so try not to stress. All you can do is continue to monitor things. Write down your symptoms, your af dates and your suspected o dates.
Your FS will do a scan (internal so yuck.,...) and check for blockages, cysts or anything obvious.
Then will suggest that they check your tubes for blockages/to ensure eggs are getting through. There are 2 ways to check your tubes. One is a HyCoSy - basically they inject a dye into your ovaries and watch via ultrasound how it moves through your tubes. The other is the same process via Laproscopic surgery (hole in belly button + at bilini line). If your FS suspects endo, he will suggest the lap - it is more invasive and difficult, but will confirm endo and treat .... and :fingerscrossed: you should be good to go.
anyway - good luck at the FS, and I hope it all goes well for you.

Thanks Katiesmum!!
Appreciate your help! DP and I have been TTC for almost 2 years, however have been having unprotected sex for 3 years.
Hopefully my GYN or FS can diagnose this ASAP so I can get back on track.

Hi ladies, just wanted to say thanks - your responses are interesting to me also.
I often have short sharp pains during my cycle...but mainly my af was early and long last month, and this month it's late. I am hoping it's due to a BFP but after 4 hpts still BFN. But maybe it's just starting to be irregular....
My sis has had endo, so i know how tough it can be, but i never really talk to her about symptoms etc.... so its really helpful to hear your stories, thx. All the very best to you all.

Thanks Chrissy!! Maybe you should have a chat to your sister if you are both close and discuss her symptoms.
The best way I can describe my pains right now are burning, it feels like my pelvis is on fire! I have an extremely sore hip (and I am only 21 :() I even threw up at lunch today, I couldn't stand up for long and when I do I feel really weak. This AF is the worst I have ever had
I used to get incredibly intense and unrelenting period pain. The pain was concentrated in my back, didn't really have any other symptoms though.
Turned out that my Endo was only attached the the Jacobs pouch (didn't risk my fertility) but if left unchecked it may have spread.
It's come back once but hopefully I can fall pregnant again and it will help stop it coming back.
The other thing I have changed is no more COC pill! In otherwords I don't want to take any 'extra' oestregen(sp?) at all!
It sounds like it could very well be endo. After TTC for so long, and your symptoms, I'm almost certain a fertility doctor would do a laparoscopy for endo. Surgery doesn't always help with the pain, but hopefully it would help with the infertility. A lot of women still manage to get pg with endo, myself included. Good luck :hugs:.
