Hi,
Has anyone bubs had runny poos on formula... first off my bubs was constipated on formula, then they went to the pasty plasticine type poo and now they are runny and has been for a week ... Has anyone had this??? I have also read somewhere that there poos could be a bit loser due to teething (which I think my bubs is at that stage right now)
Any help would be great .... sorry if it's TMI....

Bubs has started to have a little solids but really only yesterday he ate some apple and about a week ago had some rice cereal... he is interested in food but I am doign it really slow... and as for teething I have rubbed bonjella about 3 times inthe last week on his gums... and he has had panadol maybe twice aswell in the last week... and that's about it mainly he just has formula.

I was going to say that it sounded like teething.
My bub is FF and only pooed every third day (not constipated, that was just normal for her).
A couple of weeks before her first teeth appeared it started being a poo every day, then about a week/week and a half before teeth appeared, she had the runs really quite badly.
As soon as the first tooth appeared though, it was as though someone had turned off a tap! It just stopped instantly! Since then she has kept to the poo a day schedule.
Edited to add: My bub is not particularly interested in solids & very rarely eats much so in her case I don't think the solids issue enters into the equation.
What are the formula poos 'supposed' to look like? I have been told that plasticine is normal, and James does these, but also ones that look like mashed up soft avocado (sorry TMI hehe). Are these normal too?
