Needing some help :(

Hello Im new here and wasnt sure where to post this. I hope this is the right spot..

I guess i should start with im 20 years old and recently broke up with my BF however we are still seeing eachother, I have a very regular period of 28 days and am on the pill. However im now on day 29 with no period only extreme cramps the last 4 days. Im very worried. Im breasts have grow a cup size and a half and my nipple feel like there on fire! im also going to the br alot for both reasons! Im not sure what to do or think right now. O and i worked out my dates and even tho i was on the pill we did have sex right smack on day 13 and 15...

More to my worry however is that christmas and nye have just passed and if i am pregnate... i would of been drinking alcohol and i mean ALOT of it during my early days of preg aswell as taking antibiotics and plently of hangover pain killers and not to mention im pretty sure i remember doing front flips on a jumping castle... How much could this affect things if iam preg?

Im stressing to the MAX! im to scared to test aswell! but when should i?

First things first go take a test, first thing tomorrow morning, if your on the pill its unlikely but saying that antibiotics can effect the pill. I just found out I'm PG and unfortunatley I was drinking over Christmas and new years but my GP thinks I should be fine because it was in moderation. If you still dont get AF get a blood test done in a week and thats pretty much 100%. I came off the pill 26 october and my 1st cycle off i was 41 days and DH and I were NOT careful at all and I didnt fall PG to my second cycle off the pil!

Ill have to wait untill first thing thursday i think as im staying with my parents atm and my car is being fixed so id have to ask mum to take me and she would freak at me buying a test :( If not ill have to open up to my best friend and ask him to drive me down.. who is ganna freak out as much as my mum!

Im scared, so scared! its one thing to be pregnate but so much worse to think i may of caused harm to my baby. i was defo not drinking in moderation... esp nye... :( What kind of damage can this cause? could the antibiotics do the same thing?

Bella I know someone who didn't find out until around the 11 week mark and they had been partying hard for all that time and her little girl is absolutely perfect. Remember it can take at least 7-10 days for a baby to implant and during those first days the baby isn't receiving anything from you, if you drank after that period and you find out you are pregnant just let your doctor know and they can advise you as you will need to let them know roughly how much but there are plenty of babies born happy and healthy despite drinking early in pregnancy.

bella, u have realised very early that u may have be pregnant so dont stress urself out to much about the drinking... Firstly, go and take a test... I personally once took the sugar tablets on the pill and didnt get a period until 5 months later! and i wasn't pregnant... it has also happened to a friend of mine who also wasnt pregnant...

Secondly the stats currently state that 50% of pregnancies are unplanned... that means a hell of alot of women are drinking etc before finding out they are pregnant... yes there are risks to a baby because of these things, but the % of children that are effected is very small in comparison to the amount of people who drink during pregnancy (and just think how many alcoholics have babies!).. In saying that (to the other women reading this post) that does not mean to go and drink while ttc, it just means not to stress to hard if you find out a little too late

firstly i would be buying a test to find out if u are or are not pregnant.

i had a friend who didnt find out she was pregnant til 5months into the pregnancy.
i use to go out clubbing with her, we would drink and she also smoked her baby boy was born healthy and is now 4 1/2yo.

Dont stress about the alcohol- chances are it would have not done any damage :) Heaps of people drink before they find out they are pregnant, with no repurcussions.

You could be late for a variety of reasons, but when you say your breasts feel like they are on fire, well that is a very strong sign of pregnancy. I hope you get the results you are after

This is good news! i might sneak down and try test myself tomorrow. Cant believe this is happening.. Could be the pill or the antibiotics but this is my first time ever being late and having such bad cramps to... BLAH! hopefully can find out tomorrow :) in the mean time! woohoo! big boobies! sore but big! :D haha
