I feel stupid. A couple of months ago I brought some pentavite for dd as she was a bit sick and needed the extra vitamins etc. I opened it and have used it maybe a couple of times since then, and then I put it in the cupboard.
Anyway I used some thismorning as she hasn't been eating many vegies and I looked on the bottle and it said 'once opened store in refridgerator' I never noticed it before. Will it make her sick that she had some?

I doubt it will do her any harm. More likely the active vitamins in it will be diminished (I don't think I've explained that very well! I hope you catch my drift!)

Yep I get what you mean
I did the same the 1st time I bought it and stored it in the cupboard - i didnt realise until I bought another bottle that it was meant to be in the fridge *oops* it never did any harm though and didnt make EJ sick *luckily*

Just something else to note:
Some of the Pentavite multivitamins only last a certain number of weeks once opened - cannot recall for sure but maybe around the 6 week mark? I remember this because I was so annoyed because I had only used a small part of DS's $20 bottle when I realised and had to throw it out! :( But there is also a pentavite vitamin version which lasts much longer as it contains preservative, which may be the one you have anyway, but probably worthwhile checking the fineprint on the bottle just to be on the safeside.
Well that will teach me to read things, LOL. DS2 was prem so needed pentavite when born & I never kept mine in the fridge :o. He's 8 months now & fine so it obviously did him no harm. I'll know for next time now.
