Hey

I can recommend our paediatrician Dr David Slaughter ph 3839 3487, he's based on Wickham Tce and is lovely. He took good care of our bubba in hospital as well as afterwards.

Hi

I can highly recommend Dr Aaron Easterbrooke. He is at the Mater private clinic. He looked after our little boy when he had a few issues with putting on weight when he was born and he was very helpful.

Good Luck

Hi There,

I can thoroughly recommend my pediatrician, Dr Julian Mellick. He has clinics at Cleveland, Capalaba and Mater Childrens Hospital. When my son was 6 weeks old, Dr Mellick diagnosed him with pyloric stenosis, after he had been vomiting continuously for 4 days straight. Dr Mellick sent him for an ultrasound, diagnosed him and he was in sugery and operated on all within a 24 hour period thanks to Dr Mellick's professionalism and quick diagnosis. It was a condition that could have been very serious had he not been diagnosed and treated so quickly.

I now have every faith in Dr Mellick, and recommend him to all that ask.

Cheers

Dr Slaughter at the RBH is known as the number one pediatrician in Brisbane, so if you are fortuate enought to get him...go for it.

Aaron Easterbrook at the Mater also has an extremely high reputation - he's young but his reputation is growing more and more.
Aaron Easterbrook is my Peadatricain and I couldn't reccommend him high enough. He is very thorough and doesn't brush off any small worries you may have.

Good luck.

Hi!

I highly recommend Dr David Levitt. He practices at North West Specialist Centre at Everton Park. He has a lovely manner and is not at all patronizing or condescending (as some Dr's can be!).

Cheers!

Hi,

I also recommend Dr.Aaron Easterbrooke as well. Our baby was born underweight (only 1.9kg) and needed to stay at the special care nursery for 10 days. He listened what we said and checked our baby thoroughly.

One thing you should be aware is the charge, as he's a private doctor. We paid quite lots of money as he's a gap doctor and the private insurance did not cover all the cost at the hospital. (we needed to folk out a lot on top of the excess! My labour costed over $1000 at the end with gap fee for doctors & pathology.)

But this is irrelevant if you are going to see him as an outpatient. For the out-patient, I think we only paid $80 for a visit. But you may want to check when you make an appointment to avoid the surprise!

Hope this helps.

Hi
I can recommend Dr Carin Forde, she is very good and know her stuff. You couldn't get better. She is located on Wickham Terrace in the city. Dr Forde does everything from looking after you and the baby.

Dr Johanna Holt is very good. She is based at the Wesley. She does not beat around the bush and we found her to be very thorough with and really knows her stuff.

I would not recommend Dr Aaron Easterbrooke from Mater Private hospital. He did not show himself as professional and had no interest in our son at all (probably because we are immigrants).

Our son had skin tags and this doctor hardly could make a knot when he tried to remove the skin tags with a string. Result of this procedure was very poor - not whole skin tag has been removed and there is still a bump.

I think if you cannot do it get your hand out of our baby.

We also looking for a good paediatrician in Brisbane (preferably north side). My baby is 3 weeks old and still quite small and skinny. So any advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks!
