I bought hubby tickets for the local province match tonight as a Chrisssy present. I have been sick and figured being outdoors in -2 degrees is not good when I have been coughing for 3 weeks, but I can hear the crowd roaring (it's very close by)

He was sorry I couldn't go and took an Aussie friend with him. I don't love rugby (union) that much, but I have learnt to be supportive of his interests and be a part of it with him.

I thought it was on telly, but it's all stupid FA cup so far :banghead:

I think I feel left out!

Bummer..... I'd be dissapointed too.... but mind you I've played rugby since 1996 so bit of a diehard rugby nut here.....

This year will be my "official" retirement.... if I can resist the temptation.....

Hope your hubby enjoyed the game..... Who was playing????

Hi! It was Leinster and Connaught. Leinster won but he said it was a scrappy match. I'm glad I didn't go, it was freezing he said, especially just sitting around. Glad I didn't get him a seasons ticket now!:D

Oh, hope you cope ok with the retirement!! He hasn't played for years and years, but used to play for Gordon in Sydney and then in state rep teams.

Hope you don't have too many injuries to deal with!
