Hey does anyone else keep a baby book? Not a scrap book just one of those ones where u answer all the questions & keep stuff in them about ur bub iukwim!
Well i think they wonderful! Im going to give mine to Summer on her 21st bday...the thing is i went overboard & brought 3!!!! then i brought her "in a mothers words" book which is all about me so she can learn what her mother was really like/is like. I think its a good idea & wish my mum had done one for me.

I kinda keep one, for each of my bubs. I found that all the baby books I looked at had sections I didn't want and were missing pages I did want, so I am doing a scrapbook instead, but so far it is very similar to a 'baby book'. Mostly just 'firsts' and development stuff so far...and I have also included a tooth chart, family tree, growth chart (scaled down) and a few other things.

I tend to write things down in a notebook when they happen so I don't forget, doesn't matter if I get crashed into by my 3yo while I'm writing either. Then later I write it all down properly.

I started with Hannah but then got lazy - I regret it now though cause I don't have a complete memory thing to look back on - can't remember some of the milestones ages ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrr.

My mother - in-law bought a really beautiful "time capsule" for Shannyn before she was born. It is a Peter Rabbit one, and included blue and pink stuff for either sex. It has a family tree, growth chart, little organza bags to keep first tooth, first haircut etc, and a book of 'firsts'.
I loved it as a gift idea :smiliedance:

I have got a baby book where you fill out everything as they do things for the first time and grow and all that, for both of my boys. Then a baby album specifically for both boys. I have also got a baby diary, which is just a hard cover notebook, that I have written in since I was 2 months pregnant with my frist. Now I'm writing in it everything about my second baby. I never want to forget a thing! I am so happy I started it, it is priceless.
