View Full Version : Ads that make your baby stop
My two are not that interested in TV, except for teletubbies. But when the ABC learning centre ad or the Quilton toilet paper ad comes on they freeze and stare at the TV. Both of them. Does anyone elses bub do that?
The Johnson&Johnson or Huggies add (don't remember what its for) where they sing 'It must be Love' and the baby strokes it's Mum's face - both my boys just stop and stare at it! Very sweet!

My 12 month old loves any car ads, but in particular the one where the old BMW turns into the new one, driving around the race track.
Im sure DH will be stoked if he gets into cars!
my two stop for the one wher the car dances..its a normal car then it stands and starts dancing they both laugh.

Theres an ad on here about choosing the right backgroud music for your business and it has yodelling in it. It doesn't matter what she is doing, whenever Nette hears the ad, she drops what she is doing and yodels along with it, sticking her thumbs in her ears and wiggling her fingers. Very cute.

Do you remember the Telstra 'I' mode ads - "I, I, I, I, I love you very much; I, I, I, I, I think you're grand...." Every time that ad came on, he stopped whatever he did just to watch that ad.

Logan loves the ad for nicorettes....the one with the cheerleaders going 'no Gary no'
He also loves any ads for blinds...not sure about that one lol.
DS loves the ad for Breast Cancer - If you see a change in your breast see your doctor, I think its the music though.. Thinking of it I havent seen it on TV for awhile!
Heheh B-J, just finished watching last nights daily show and as soon as DS heard the start of BB he was at the TV.. Only lasted a few minutes though :rolleyes:

Summer pretty much loves any ad to do with music. If there is music playing she will look at me smile then start bobbing along then when the ad is over she walks away & carries on with whatever she was doing before :laughing:

My DD loves the add for the "shoe shed" (Shes takes after her mum and loves shopping). Oh and that add for that chicken salt... Matani. "Shake shake shake Matani" drives me nuts. :laughing:

Matthew loves this one too, at the end of it, he always says "Doctor, Doctor, Doctor!!!" It's always on in the mornings when Sunrise is on.
He also likes the Mortgage Choice ones, he repeats the phone number at the end.
He likes the Kia ads, where they say "Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaaa" but they haven't been on for months.
uummm....any of the RSPCA ones are favourites too.

there's an ad on cable for a wrestling program which absolutely mesmorises (spelling?) spencer. i think it's all the flashing colour and lights. thank goodness, he's not old enough to insist on watching the program!

One of mine used to stop screaming just long enough to watch the Jalna yoghurt ad (with the singing cow) and the other loves the Optus ads and the end of 'Antiques Roadshow' on Channel 9!

My DD has always loved the City Beach ad! Its always been her fave for as long as I can remember! :smiliedance:
My 2 year old loves watching the same one as mum2jacob about checking your breasts for changes.

Ava loves the Hungry Jack's ads. She always stops to stare when they are on. Oh, and the Neighbours theme song!
Scarlet loves one of the world vision ads, its one with a little girl talking. She also like the Del computer ad and the kresta blind ad...... not sure why, but she laughs when they come on!!
