im breastfeeding.. will it change the taste of my milk? i dont want her to wean because of that

will it help to regulate my period? atm i have no idea what its doing.

also how reliable is it.. im not having sex just yet but i want to know.. last i heard it was only 97% is this right??

did it cause many downsides for you??

I have taken it whilst BF and didn't have any probs apart from remebering to take the bugger.:o
Unlike the regular pill there is only afour hour window to remeber to take or its effectiveness will be compromised.
I tried next to the kettle, on DS change table, on kitchen table, in bathroom/bedroom. I was hopeless, that was my only whinge with it.

At first it made my periods come every week and a half for a few days but then after about 2 months they just stopped altogether. Also gave me headaches for awhile too until my body was used to being on it. After going off the pill I was trying to conceive again and took 6 months to fall as my periods were all over the shop. I would prefer a different contraception next time.

I started taking the mini pill a week ago, and since then I've noticed a drop in my supply, so much so that yesterday had I not had EBM in the freezer bubs would have gone hungry. I rang the ABAs helpline and they said in a small percentage of women it can do that....typical that I'm in that small percentage hey! Anyway, I stopped it.

Just thought I would post so you are aware of what may happen.
