It makes me want to vomit just thinking about it! I changed jazzys nappy on the floor of her room today(she was too wriggly for the change table) and she had done this funny poo that was really pebbly. Anyway a pebble must have escaped before i put it in the nappy sack and when she was in her room this afternoon i looked over at her and i noticed something on her chin. It was poo! It obviously didnt taste too good because she had dribbled it back out. My poor girl..i felt like such an idiot! Dh laughed his head off for ages though....

I think most kids taste it at least once in their lives! I know it's gross but what can you do?!?!?! You can't be there all the time right when they do it. It is pretty funny but it is very much like....:barf:

We caught DD placing a HUGE piece of dog poo into her mouth (from the grass in backyard) when she was younger (not sure, maybe around 10mths or so). And because she bit down on it, we had to SCRUB her mouth out for ages to get it all out. (sorry guys, TMI there)

I still dry retch when I think about it.:barf:

My DS2 did the exact same thing the other day. Gotta love those pebbly poos. Ugh.

Yep, and watch out for cat poo as well, especially in any sandy areas!

My kids have never eaten poo! But have managed to smear it in most places around the place.

HOWEVER, recently our DD(2) did a poo in her pants and came out to show us, emptied her pants and before we could act, our puppie ran over, picked up a nugget and ate it all.

Seriously made me sick - as still does!

Why doesn't the silly pup eat her own poops? lol

pebbley poo - that is such a perfect way to describe it. i never thought of that before. pebbley poo is a bit drier than sticky moist poo and it almost layers as it comes out the sphincter...........i'm not really sure of the mechanics of it. but i'm sure to use 'pebbley poo' again in the future.

When my younger sister was toilet trained, my parents once caught her eating the corn out of her poo that she had just done in the toilet. :barf:

 That is SO funny! My niece did exactly the same - a pebble escaped the nappy and ... yum! She survived to tell the tale! (And so did her Mum!! :D )

Also some friends of ours' kids both decided to get into one of their nappies and eat, smear, and decorate with it! Ewwwww! :devil6: They both had to be hosed down in the shower!

PMSL  :lol

OMG that is soooo funny! Gross but funny!

Reminds me of the time my DS started crawling and I found it captivated by something he'd found in the corner (this was in my aunt-in-laws home and she is OCD so it was CLEAN) - went over and in his hand was half a cockroach!!!! EEEEEKKKKKK YUCK!

Apparently my freak of an older brother did this quite regularly.

He'd do a poo in his potty, stand up, pick it up and have a nibble.

Drove my poor old mum absolutely insane. She didn't know whether to laugh, cry or vomit and so the resulting sounds emanating from her were, by all accounts, very entertaining.

My DS1 took a pooey nappy off about 12 months ago when DS2 had only just started crawling. I found both kids in the toy room playing in it, they had it everywhere including there mouths. Need i say more we had to get the carpet cleaners in to clean the carpet lol.
