Charleville ???

Has anyone out there been to this town or heard anything good or bad about it.
Reason for asking is Hubby might have a job offer out there, so i would like to know more...

A friends of mine lives there and she loves it. We went out for a few days once, it's not somewhere I could live, there's not much there at all. But everyones different. Do you live in a small town now?

i have a friend and aunty & uncle who live there they love it. last time i went out about this time last year it was bloody cold lol.

A friend of ours, who we used to share a house with came from Charleville... He wasn't too fond of it.
The impression I got from him was that it was very 'country'... the men go to work and the pub (oh, and go out pig hunting!)... the women cook and clean and raise the kids ... lol ... don't know how true that all is!
...of course I have no idea really, this is just the impression that my friend gave me.
I am from Bundaberg and I believe compared to Charelville, Bundaberg is a happening city!:laughing:

I haven't been there myself, but a friend of mine has a lot of her family out their. I also think it's very country, but anything is worth ago.
We left Brisbane for our little town, and as small towns go this one is great, don't know if I could go anywhere much smaller though.
After nearly a year I still get home sick, but I have made some good friends here in town and they keep me sain - so does bubhub!

Bundaberg IS a lot bigger than Charleville is...
Is it a nice place for kids to grow up, like safe for them etc.

I went there for a few nights when i was younger & didnt really like it. Theres a whole lot of nothing out there but i think thats just cause im a city girl :yes:
