I have a 4 month old bub and I am returning to work in the city next week. I would love to hear from any mums with bubs who also work in the city to see if you would like to get a lunch group together. Even if it is once every 3 weeks - a social get-together to chat about juggling babies, work, partners, life etc.
Hope there are some mums out there in the same boat! :D

:) Hi
I have a 7month old little boy and I am returning to work next week as well. I will be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I am not looking forward to it but I will see how it goes. I work in Adelaide street. Where abouts in the city do you work. I would love to catch up at lunch time for a coffee to talk about mumsy things. Wait to hear from You.

That sounds great! How about we aim to meet up the week after next (lil time to settle in) for a coffee or something in a lunch break. Wednesdays are my day off so any day but that is fine.
Let me know if/when you have your work address up and running and I will do the same. I am on Eagle Street, not too far away..
Other city mums, please join us!
Hi Guys
I'd like to hook up to if its OK with you. I find I have little opportunity to connect with other working mums as we've all got diff schedules and weekends are taken up with our family time :) .
I work Mon / Tues / Wed and so do overlap with both of you - I work on Charlotte St at the Eagle St end so not far away either. Maybe PM a suggested lunch/coffee time (I do check my private messages :p ) and we can also swap email addresses.
Cheers

That sounds good - give us next week to settle in and then we can meet up the week after. I have sent you both a private message. Anymore city mums want to meet?

This is fantastic - I am very excited to find people in the same boat!
Tuesdays seem to work well, so we should tentatively book in Tuesday 12 July for a 1.00pm coffee to start off with. I suggest Coffee Club at Post Office Square so no one is walking too far.
I will PM all of you with my email details next week.
Speak to you all soon!
Hey Jack's mum - I have PM'd you my details - I sent them to Kristy as well this morning. I will put 12 July in my diary.

Hi
Just like to let you know that I have survived two days of my three days of work this week. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but I am missing my little boy very much. I am looking forward to having coffee next Tuesday so please let me know what is happening. I will pm you my work email address
Kristy
I am the proud Mum of a fourteen month old boy. I work 3 days in the City (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and the other 2 days from home. Yes, we are the classic role reversal family! - I work full-time and my hubby stays home with our son full-time. We have been doing this for nearly a year now and I find it a struggle at times - to say the least! (How do you turn off being a Mum when you're at work?)... I work near Post Office Square. It would be nice to meet up with you all on the 12th, if not too late to join up? ;)
Looking forward to meeting up with you all on Tuesday. Judy, I am sure there is room for an experienced city mum!
One question - how we will know who we are without our babies attached to us? Jack's mum - are you going to make a booking? or should we all wear a flower  Hmmmm...maybe not - it could clash with the baby goo I find myself wearing to work regularly!

Hi everyone!
Yes, the meet up is still on! 1pm Post office Square Coffee Club. I will be wearing a black sweater with a pink shirt underneath.. will try and get a table inside.
Looking forward t meeting you all!
Although we exchanged emails I thought a public "well done" was in order for Jack's mum for organising us, and for xkwzit and Judy for recognising us - what a success!
(Now I can't be rude about people who meet on the internet as I have joined them!)
See you in a couple of weeks

Thanks very much for making it a great success!
We will be meeting again in 3 weeks so if anyone would like to join our meet-up, please PM me with your e-mail address and I will let you know the details. At this stage we are going to have lunch on Tuesday 2 August.
I look forward to the next meet up! :)
Hello All,
Am rapildly expanding (!) and due mid-October, but I'd love to meet you at some stage to see how you all are - I am planning to take six months leave from late September, and am in a dilemma re child care options and how we'll manage the first few months bumbling about together at home! Am very new to motherhood and have mixed feelings about being without adult company for six months! Would love to hear your thoughts & see how you are. :)
Sally (I work at southbank but can stroll across the bridge)
Hi Ladies,
I know there hasn't been much activity on this thread for a few weeks but I was wondering if I could join your clique. I have been back at work for two weeks now and would love a chance to meet with people that are juggling baby/work/relationship/personal time etc.
Thanks
Hi Norman!
I was going to email you to tell you to join us for lunch now that you are back at work but you have beaten me to it!
We haven't organised one for a couple of weeks - I have emailed you with my work details so I can include you on organising our next catch up.
