vitex to help conceive

Hi all
I am taking vitex to help with my cycles as i am still bf and they hadn't returned to normal.
It seems to be working well - it has increased my cm and brought O forward to day 15 instead of 21 so hopefully will also lengthen my LP.

Just wondering should you stop taking it after ovulation or stop after getting a bfp? What have other people done?

This is my first cycle on Vitex. My Dr has told me if I get a BFP to stop taking them as its theres no need to continue they have already done their job! Check with your GP if your not sure;)

If I were you I'd stop taking them altogether. I had two early miscarriages whilst taking it.... well actually shortly after stopping taking it in each case.... after I'd suspected I was pregnant. Search engine it & you will find loads of ladies have had early miscarriages whilst taking Vitex. I stopped taking it and my very next pregnancy stuck.

It helped me concieve my second baby, i took it up untill after i ovulated and got my :bfp: the first month i took it. :thumbsup:

Keep taking until you get your BFP.

It helped me, I didn't fall pregnant but I took it for 3 cycles and it regulated my cycles beautifully, and they stayed regular after I stopped taking it. I'd recommend it to anyone!!

I gave my 'left over' tablets to a friend who was also ttc and had been for a while, she conceived her daughter first cycle on it. :thumbsup:
