Hi
I have a large bookcase thats filled with photoframes,candles etc etc.its so wobbly,and now that my son is getting more mobile i want to secure it to wall.I can just picture it falling on him!!
What can i use to secure it???

A couple of L-shaped brackets screwed onto the bookshelf and onto the wall can help stabilise it. We did that for DS's bookshelf in his room. It's a bit of worry in case it topples or he decides to climb it! Hope this helps.:thumbsup:

We used metal strapping. It's like a metal strip with holes pre-drilled in it. One end was screwed into the bookshelf, the other into an anchor bolt (or stud) in the wall.

Ikea supplies kits for doing this when they sell bookcases. You may be able to go look at one, or even pick one up there.
