Centrelink vent!!!

Just a little vent about a huge stuff up.:banghead::banghead:
I swear they make it harder for themselves. How hard is it to pay people correctly. Seems simple enough, there web site even says it $1000 per child if you recieve the ftb. They cant tell me why I recieved 50% of the payment for DD1 (my partner recieved the other half & he isnt even her father & recieves no ftb for her) 50% of the payment for our daughter (ftb goes into my account) and 75% of the payment we are supposed to get for DSD (ftb goes into his account for her) The rest of the money will go into Df's account sometime and if its not in by the 22nd to call back.
I dont understand why they have split the payments up, they wont tell us as they cannot discuss other peoples payments with another person :hair::hair: we were both there but "im not allowed to comment when they are talking to him and vise versa". I wouldnt mind if we had been paid our ftb but they havent even got that right and its our regular pay day.
I wish I didnt have to deal with them.
We are putting in a comlaint about this.

I really dont think they could explain what they had done it that way & why and were using that as an excuse.

Thats right, I used to work at centrelink (dont hold it against me, lol) sounds like you got a new person who doesnt know much yet. There are certain sections of your files they can check to get the answers. I would call back and ask to speak to a TSO - a Technical services officer (a supervior and expert in FTB basically) and then you will get someone who knows exactly whats going on and will disclose all info to you both.

my aunty only ended up getting $1500 for her 2 kids, i dont know why....pretty slack i reckon when everyone else got their full $1000 for each of their kids.

They are trying to tell us that, thats how we opted to get our payments and that we should get it by the end of the week. I didnt even know we had an option on how we could get our payments!!
