View Full Version : Hi everyone, I'm a midwifery student

Hi everyone,
my name is Sonia and I am new here. I have twins who have just turned 2 and they are very happy little girls, who make my life very fun. I am also a studying midwifery at Flinders Uni. I hope to have some great chats on this site. I also hope that some people might be able to help me out. As a part of my course I follow people through their pregnancies, I go along to their antinatal clinics, I support them in their birth and I visit them at the 6 week check up. This is a really great experience for me and a wonderful way for me to learn and form bonds with women. I have found that it is also a great experience for the woman. I am looking for women birthig anywhere in Adelaide. If you are interested, I would love to hear from you.

Hi Sonia,

Your midwifery course sounds great. :smiliedance:

I am hoping to be pregnant by the end of this year through IVF. I am hopefully starting another cycle in August so we will see what happens. I would gladly like to help you out, you can only really learn through experience and you cant get experience if no one gives you a chance.

I will let you know how things go. I live in the North of Adelaide about 10 minutes from Gawler.
