Hey it must be really hard for you i know how i feel,i would just let it go hes clearing has told you he wants nothing to do with the child and hasnt been there for you at all through anything. If you think he would pay child support i would go ahead and do it i havent bothered becuase i know that the father wouldnt pay anything and already owns his other ex that he has 2 other kids with over 2000 in child support. If he comes around and has grown up and shows that he is going to be a good father to your child and be there for and not just see them at least once a week i would start slowly letting him see the child just take it really slowly and make sure hes going to be a good father before you do anything. If he doesnt want anything to do with the child in the future hes preety much just a loser who needs to grow up and you and your child are far better off with out him,im doing it on my own and you'll be able to,to i know it gets hard but hang in there. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Bambin's advice (while not a Dad) makes a lot of sense to me.
You give him the opportunity to be involved but if he does not then move on and find yourself a partner who will want to be involved with both your baby AND you.
Given your first post I agree you should proceed down the legal path of getting support as it sounds like the two of you have big up AND Downs! so best to have it clearly outlined from the start
From what you have written it sounds to me like you are better off single in this case, however Dad did state that he did not want the baby so we can't beat him up too much
Just remember that whatever else you have a baby too love and cherish.
Wishing you a safe,healthy & happy Christmas

I know the thread is closed but I just wanted to add my 2 cents that might help...
You also need to be careful if FOB has a girlfriend/partner/wife... My friend is in a similar situation and the girlfriend is manipulating the situation and causing so much trouble that it means he has no contact with his daughter.
Just something that I know ALOT of women are dealing with, unfortunately...
