Hi Ladies,

Does anyone know where I can find a toy xylophone? A friend of mine has one that has keys on the top to hit with the little stick thing and also piano keys on the side. Unfortunately it was given to her so she has no idea where it came from :(
dd 1st biffy is in a few weeks and I really want to give her one as a prezzie.
I've looked in Taget, K-mart, Mr Toys and Myer, but no joy. :(
thanks heaps guys,

Julie.

I got a fantastic one in KIDS CENTRAL in Chatswood. About $35 i think. With both the bits you hit with the thingies,:p and the keys on the top. really brightly coloured. very good value for money.

Yep I've seen them in both Target and Mr Toys. They come as a puppy or a crocodile and have the keys as well as the actual bars.

I'll get my DS's one in the morning and let you know the manufacturer of it.

BIG W had a kids xylophone around Christmas time, not sure if they still do?

Our Miss 7 used to drive us BONKERS with hers - we cherished the day that she grew sick of it!!!

I was going to suggest the same places. Also you could try a shop called the Early Learning Centre, they have heaps of stuff like that :)
Hope you find one :fingerscrossed:

I saw one exactly as you are describing in Big W today. Didn't take notice of the cost though sorry. But they are definately out there.

Good Luck with the search

I bought a crocodile one for my niece's birthday last year. It was from K-Mart (the one in Katoomba but I'm pretty sure if one stocks them, they all will).

Have you had a look-see in Toys'r'Us? Seems like just their sort of thing.

Okay, have just checked DS's and it's a Fisher-Price so perhaps ring the manufacturer and they can tell you who their stockists are.

Good luck !
