why am im worrying

3 weeks ago when Andrew's father texted me saying some stuff and saying that hes taking me to court for rights i have not stop thinking about im so worried its not funny its been on my mind 24/7.The other thing im worry about it might sound dumb but im really nervous about him just coming during the night and stealing andrew or going to his kindy and taking him.

Its natural to freak out, worry, panic when ya get stupid threatenign texts/messages like that- my ex dishes them out every couple months first time was when he said he wanted full custody of my then two week old DD who he'd not even met and didnt even know her name only what CSA had told him when they
contacted him....
My lawyer told me to try not to worry or stress over those messages cos theres nothing i can do if he really wants to take me to court he will and theres nothing worrying can do to change it..


easier said than done- i still panic though.

i worry heaps about this. we still sleep in the same room ATM but when DD gets her own room i want security screens fitted onto her window and i checked out preschools and their safety for thus reason when enrolling DD- some dont have locks on the front doors i found and so anyone could walk in and grab a kid. the one i have Dd in you have to buzz to get someone to come to the door who then checks who you are and willl them let you in- and only people who i have wrotten down on her enrolment form are able to pick her up..


it sucks we have this constant fear of the ex taking the kids etc. but i guess its just cos as parents we're protective of them.

my DD's sperm doner of a father doesnt even know where we live or ANYTHING about DD...and i still freak out that he is going to come steal her or worse.:no:

From personal experience you will get many more stupid texts like that. Do you really think that he will take you to court or is it an empty threat to scare you?? You might find that once he starts (if he does) its to much effort &/or expensive for him.

I used to worry all the time about him coming to take her, but i had good security at my last place and he dont know where we live now. Talk to his daycare and found out what they would do in that situation (if he showed up to take him) might put your mind at ease a little.
