Have you tried the Maybe Baby Ovulation detector?

I have a Maybe Baby ovulation detector and it works great. I used it for #1 and just started using it for #2. Has anyone else used it and how did you find it? Did you get accurate results or did you have some weird variations?

I am still BF and stopped taking the mini pill 1 week ago. My periods haven't come back yet and since I started using the maybe baby a few days ago, I have had some odd results.

I had the plain, dotty result on the first day, forgot the next day, had VERY strong fern patterns the next day, then for the next 2 days, had very clear fern patterns that were slightly less stronger than the first day of fern patterns. This is a bit backwards according to the instructions.

I know that results can be innacurate when BF so how else am I supposed to figure out if and when I am ovulating? Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

I used to use a MB. In the early days it seemed to work for me, but as I got older I sometimes found that I got estrogen surges at times other than when I ovulated so could not rely on it fully. I found I often got ferns just before AF arrived. I don't know if that helps you at all, but that was my experience. Temping worked way better for me as there was no guess work, but I don't know if that works too well when breastfeeding.
