It's great getting fluffy mail :smiliedance: If it's just the pocket, I'd only bother washing it once before use. Same with microfibre stuffing. If it's hemp, don't bother drying it inbetween washes and just add it to the next load going. Or use it now with the knowledge that it's not at maximum absorbancy so you have to change it sooner. I'm not a patient person as you can tell LOL

Hi

I got my Greens nappies at the end of last week and I LOVE THEM! They are fantastic and I haven't had one leak. I even have had them on Em at night and she sleeps for 12 hours. The only disposable I've been able to put on her at night has been huggies because she is a big wetter at night! The Greens were more than able to cope!!!

I was so impressed that I went online today and bought another 5. Which one/s did you get?

Thats interesting. I put Liv in beehinds at night, but they are so bulky. What are you stuffing yours with. I didn't think they would do the trick at night, but maybe I will give it a go.

I got a "sage" one. I can try it on both the kiddies that way.... it's neutral!!

Well I am very excited!! It is currently in the wash on cycle #2. So you reckon I dont need to dry inbetween? I also am impatient. I think I will try it on dd first as ds is a heavy wetter so it will get another wash inbetween, so hopefully more absorbant. He will be the true test. As I have to boost his sposies at night!!

Speaking of which... the machine has stopped... onto the next wash!! Maybe I should hang it out for a while first, what do you guys think?

:D

If it's only the greens nappy, I wouldn't bother washing it again, just hang it out to dry. If you have any hemp boosters, chuck them in for another go. Good luck

Ok, um... not so good. I'm not sure if ds took it off or whether it "fell" off like he said...

Give me another day or so & I'll let you know after another test run LOL!!

Hi liviamorris

I put one of those hemp things in (can't remember the name now!) and a microfibre booster in there. They are absolutely full by the morning but there are no leaks and the actual pocket nappy doesn't feel wet at all.

I was expecting to get up in the middle of the night for a change the first time I tried but I've done it a second night now and no dramas!

Jo :)

Thanks Jo, sounds like what I stuff mine with. I will have to give it a go myself. Have been putting it off as I have also expected to have to do a middle of the night change.

The official verdict after 4 trials!!

I put it on CJ for his night sleep last night. Now, Connor is a heavy wetter. I have to put a booster in his sposies at night. So you could imagine that I was a little sceptical that it would last. I was half expecting my little man to be cold & shivering this morning from being wet. HE WAS DRY!! :yelclap:

So now I am off to order soem more Nappies!!

I'd better try it on Ella now hey!! :D
