View Full Version : formula cans
Does anyone have any useful tips on what to do their fomula cans once they are finished up?? Something crafty or the like? Seems a shame to throw them out if they can be recycled as something useful :)
Its not particularly crafty, but you could keep them for storage for things like leggo or playdoh when bubba gets into those sorts of things.

Found them very handy for storing nails, screws etc in the garage or shed.
If you were really motivated you could poke some holes in the bottom of them, paint them and use them for plants.

I use the tins for all the above things. I also use the tins as presents, I decorate the cans (like do a scrapbooking page but use the tin instead). They also make great Christmas, easter etc tins decorate the outside and bingo a great gift.

You can glue the lid on and cover the tin in coloured contact for your bub, they can use them to stack, roll around, use as a drum. Bubs can also use them to learn to put things in and out of containers.

My husband uses the empty tins in the garage to store anything and everything, for example he uses them for nails, bolts, car parts, odds and ends, the uses for these tins is endless.
Problem is now I have atleast 15 empty tins stored in the kitchen cupboards and he does not need them now but wants me to hold on to them. Help!!
