PND Support

Hey All

Just wondering if anyone has someone/where they can refer me to as i am suffering post natal depression and am finding it extremely hard to obtain some sort of support/counselling.:crying:

I feal like i'm :banghead: as nobody seems to care how this is making me feel and just becuase i'm not suicidal i'm not important enough to be asigned a councellor through the medical centre.

I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through.

The BubHub 'Helplines and Support' section contains a few useful numbers, including one in your area :
"Postnatal and Antenatal Depression Support & Information (PaNDSI)
ph: (ACT) (02) 6232 6664
PaNDSI provides support and information to mums with Post or Ante Natal Depression and their families."

I too suffer from PND. I too live in ACT so if you want to either PM anytime for chat feel free or if you want to go for coffee on a weekend (I work fulltime) let me know too.
