Hi I know this sounds kind of stupid but i got told that you cant get away without morning sickness if your pregnant with a baby girl.

So i want to know if anyone out there had a baby girl or is pregnant with one but didnt get really bad morning sickness.
Any repiles will be appriciated, Thank you.

I have two boys aged 3 and 2 and I wasn't sick at all with them. This time I spent three weeks on the couch and felt terrible and still have bad days. I also have really bad skin which I have never had before in my life. We wanted to find out what we are having but at both scans they said they couldn't see. With my boys we couldn't help but see that they were boys! So it does make me wonder, I would love another boy but know that everyone wants us to have a girl. This time has def been a very different pregnacy so will just have to wait and see.

i didnt get morning sickness either time and i had a boy then a girl.

Had my DD in Jan this year. Did not have a single moment of morning sickness. :)

Erm....I think the morning sickness thing with boys vs. girls is a bit of a myth. In any case I had actually heard that it was the other way around, and that you don't get it as much with boys.

I didn't get morning sickness, and did happen to have a boy, but really I think it's just one of those silly myths.

i felt a little off at times but never anything bad.
i have 2 girls and we lost one bub at 10 weeks.

I had my DD in June and was only sick once but i think that was due to the heat of Townsville considering i live in melbourne its a totally different heat scale.

I've had 3 boys and a girl, and I don't think i've ever had decient morning sickness, just got the queezy feeling with all of them, and I think that it was only with DS2 that I felt the worse (smells would make me wanna :barf:) but it didn't last long, and wasn't all the time

Never had morning sickness (or nausea) either. I had a girl first, then a boy.

i never had any preggy symtoms... could even tell i was... don't know why, but doesn't even feel like i had a baby... but i love my little bubi so much...
maybe preggerz now, and feel really seedy all the time...

Both of mine were girls, and never a moment of morning sickness with either of them! Personally, I think its more to do with a person's individual constitution than the pregnancy itself.

With DS I had awful all day sickness from 6-14 weeks.

This baby is a girl and I only felt off for a couple of weeks (about weeks 9-11 I think it was).

Hi sorenLorensen sorry to here about your loss its so sad.

Thank you to everyone who replied i am only 5 and half weeks through my pregnancy with bad regergitation i guess you could call it i have been sick once but feel really tired and under the whether.

I had been told that morning sickness was alot worse with girls than boys but i guess everyone is different. Thank you look foward to more responses.

Im 22 weeks preg with twin boys and did not have even a drop of morning sickness, and like you i thought there was something wrong but my boys are fine :-)

I never had any MS with DS1, now I'm pg with DS2 and still nothing any worse than a bit of nausea for a couple of days:p

With DD not an ounce of MS. This time round (another girl we think should find out for sure on Tuesday) have felt decidedly yuck and have actually :barf: a few times so the myth does and doesn't work for me!

I had a girl, and my morning sickness was very very mild.

I never threw up (well I did, as a result of motion sickness, and then when I was ill at 38 weeks - neither time was related to morning sickness).

My morning sickness was pretty much constant nausea for the first 12 weeks. It was horrible, but that was it.

I also felt ill when around food that had a strong smell - so foodcourts were always off-limits.

I didn't really fit any of the "having a girl" wives-tales though...

I didn't have a moment of it either, not with DS or with this one (28 weeks at the moment) and this one is a girl.

Definately just an old wives tale! Cause I had no m/s with both DS and DD. Although I had a couple of weeks of feeling sick with DS. Both my pregnancies were pretty symptom free - I feel very lucky!

thank you to everyone who has replied i guess i will just have to wait and find out.

Chicken your baby is due a day after my birthday next year it go's hand in hand with my sister in laws due date as she is due on the 1st of march good luck to all of you who are pregnant or trying to lose weight now.

I haven't had it ( only withmy second son) and I have had both sexes.
I don't think you can tell as a result of having MS or not, having it sorry.
Like you said have to wait and see. Some of our bodies are kind to us in pregnancy other bodies are not.
my theory is you get orse morning sickness considering how big the baby is . My biggest gave me morning sickness.

I didn't have anything I don't think i would of found out i was having DD unless i took the test cause i was going to start taking a new tablet that you couldn't take if you were pregnant so we did a test and there you go 2 little blue lines..lol I worked the whole way through shift work and i was ok..

I have had two girls.
With the first I had it, when i wasnt in bed i was in the bathroom and thats about all where i went in the first 14 wks...
With the second I had non at all. When I found out i was preg, i got some morning sickness remedies...but didnt need any of them! YAY!!!
