Hi! I just wanted to share my biscuit recipe with you all!
Its sugar free and can be lactose free (if you replace the butter with an alternative) and children love it!
My 16 1/2 month old daughter loves them!:smiliedance:
I dont know exact measurements, I just go by the look and feel of the cookie dough.
I use:
Rice flour (about 3/4 cup)
Plain flour (about 1/4 cup - I use a wheat and gluten free one, but you could use any)
about 2 tablespoons of butter
small tub of apple puree
handful of sultanas
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
Place flours and butter in a mixing bowl. Rub flour and butter together with your fingertips until theres no clumps of butter and it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add apple puree and sultanas and mix well with your hands.
Make sure the mix is nice and moist, and that is sticks together when you roll it into small balls.
Roll into small balls and place on a baking paper lined tray. Press the balls down with a fork (not too flat - just enought to get rid of the round shape)
Bake for 15-20 mins, or until the biscuits are golden.
Cool in the pan, then serve to your bubba with a glass of milk. :chef:
