I was given a movement monitor for my newborn baby , which is a sensor pad you put under the mattress and if it doesnt detect movement including babys heartbeat for more than 20 seconds and alarm goes off. My question is , do you think these are safe, and is there any chance of the child getting lukemia or a brain tumor from the electrical current?,, i tried to ring the company and the lady didnt have any information on what is actually in the sensor, but i dont like the sound of an electrical pad the full size of my baby being under her mattress every time she sleeps,, thats 20 hours + a day!! Has anyone looked into this , or know where I might find some info??
