hi all
my son is 3 and ive FINALLY got him toilet trained for home using a potty. but now im stumped where to go from here on a few things
firstly the only way i found worked to get him to use the potty was to have him running around without undies on. if he has undies on he just goes in his undies, but if hes naked, he will go to the potty. im very proud of him :smiliedance:for leaning to go to the potty but now how on earth do i get him to start wearing undies/pants and STILL go to the potty! cant have him running around naked forever!
also what do i do when we go out? do you take a potty with you? or try teaching them to use the toilet when we are out? at the moment he is still in nappies when we are out and thats got to stop. thing is, have to get the whole undies situation sorted (see above) before can attempt to go out without nappies :confused:
