when a new baby comes along

My almost 3 1/2 year old isn't coping as well as I thought she would with our new baby. Well he is almost 5 months so not so new now.

She has her good and bad days but have just found she has so much more attitude then before he came along. She talks back to me and uses a firm voice like when I discipline her and it drives me crazy.

She is also waking at night now as well.

So has anyone elses kids had trouble adjusting to a new baby?

YES YES YES, my DD did, and she was nearly 4. She refused to talk to her for the first 2wks because she was a girl (she wanted a boy) and since then the attitude and for some reason trying to poke her eyes out??? I dont understatnd that. I cant stand the back chat. I think it is an age thing to. coming from working in childcare I can tell you most kids (not all) can develop an attitude around this age. I have been told it does pass lol.
