DD1 stopped at 3, we gave her bottles to Santa and he left her 2 funky cups to have her milk in before bed!!

She was really only taking the bottle for comfort and never atually drank it. Now she has a cup she has milk before she goes into her bedroom and once she is in bed is only allowed water. Before we gave her bottles away I started giving her a cup of milk before bed and a bottle of water when she went to bed - she still didn't drink it

Maybe you could ask her if she wants her bottle before bed or give her a non-spill cup to take to bed with her instead of the bottle.

If it isn't a problem for you then she will give it up when she is ready.

I was very stressed about stopping the bottle too :o

But as it turned out ds was fine without one and went off to sleep without any problems (but he was only 16mths when we gave the bottle up)It was too easy I kept expecting him to be unsettled but he was fine:thumbsup:

Good luck:fingerscrossed:

Matthew dropped his night time bottle a couple of weeks ago, I was still giving them to him but when he got up, he was lying next to a full bottle of milk, so I just stopped giving them to him. I actually felt bad that he was still having night bottles at his age because his brother and sister hadn't had one past the age of 11mths.

I'd suggest offering her a cup or watering the milk down a little, or just put 50mls in the bottle instead of filling it right up. Or maybe she could leave her bottles for the bottle fairy to take in place of a reward of some kind.
