View Full Version : TTC Craziness
I don't know if it's just me but now that I'm ttc I notice and analyze every little thing my body does. Take today for example.
I have been feeling a little 'funny' (for want of a better word) in the stomach. Went to the dump with DH and had to breath continuously through my mouth because the smell upset my stomach more and was making me want to throw up. Then my baby obsessed brain thinks, 'I might be pregnant!' I am only 3-4 DPO so I wouldn't be experiencing any symptoms yet, my logical brain chimes in. The smell at the dump is enough to make anyone sick!
Later today I felt really light headed and dizzy after getting up from the couch. Baby obsessed brain, 'I might be pregnant!" Logical brain, 'It's a really hot, humid day. Go have some water.'
This constant second guessing everything is driving me crazy and we've only been TTC since mid October. I know how unlikely it is but there is always just that little glimmer of hope. I'm also driving my DH crazy. Have decided not to mention things like this to him anymore.
Hoping that I get pregnant sooner rather than later otherwise I really will go crazy.
Good luck to everyone else out there who is TTC and going crazy at the same time.:babydust2:

Totally with you Baibee:thumbsup:.
We started ttc around the same time. I too am trying to find a way not to analyse every niggle and twitch.:p

I know exactly what you are talking about.
Since TTC in August, I have never felt more dizzy, nauseous, tired, and crampy in my life!
I don't tell anyone, as I know it's all in my head, and just wishful thinking :D

We've been TTC since the same time as you too! :D
I've noticed I'm queezy after eating at night, but never during the day. Logical brain says "that's cos you cooked in the hot kitchen and it's boiling hot tonight"
I've noticed that my breasts seem bigger and my veins more visible. Logical brain says "that's cos your body is getting back to normal after stopping the pill"
I've noticed that Coke Zero takes more metallic. Logical brain says "That's because it's really hot lately".
I'm not UTD... Hopefully, :fingerscrossed:, it will happen before Christmas!!! :p
I'm not even TTCing & if I have anything occur that happened during my pregnancy I worry that I may be pregnant again & don't know it. LOL. Trouble is that so much of what happens during pregnancy can be due to many other things going on in your body.
All I can tell you is on the months that I did conceive I had no traditional early pregnancy symptoms except tiredness & felt just like I was going to get AF. The months that I didn't conceive I had all sorts of "symptoms" that obviously meant nothing.
I hope your TTC journey is a short one.
It's comforting to know that I'm not the only crazy one out there:D
Today I've felt nothing out of the ordinary so my poor brain has had a relatively quiet day except for the recurring thought, 'oh well, definitely not pregnant. No symptoms today.'
It really is madness!!:hair:

All the best for you when you do test, no symptoms seem to bring on the most BFP.....just thought I'd give you more to ponder:laughing: not trying to make you crazy though:p
I'm currently 13dpo, had light spotting 3 days ago, very very light!. Have had nothing for a day and a half. Still don't want to get my hopes up:no:
So madness central here too:yes:

I have just been on the TWW, after only TTC for 1 month, I drove myself so nutty, im so glad I got a BFP yesterday because I would have driven my DH Crazy with all my symptoms. But in saying that they were real preg symptoms they just came on so early it was all a bit of a shock, good luck hopefully not too much longer

Congratulations and all the best for your pregnancy. :goodvibes:
There you go you can never tell just whether symptoms or lack of will give us a BFP.
Congratulations MUMSIEOF1!!
That's great news. What symptoms are you experiencing?

Hi Baibee-3dpo i was sooo tired i couldnt keep my eyes open the following day I had slight Nausea, and was just feeling tired. my boobs still arnt sore but I was getting some shooting pains occasionally and very bloated. this is my 2nd so I was able to realise the signs alot quicker I think, just a general yuck feeling, but in saying all this my first preg I didn't feel a thing until 6 wks. It is very hard to read, even with all those symptoms I was still second guessing
