just moved up here last weekend and i need some friends!!

so, locals, where are the good parks, things to do, meet ups with other mamas?

I was in Toowoomba before i moved here

Queens park is pretty great an its right near town , Then there is also Picnic point , there is 3 dif parks up there ! its pretty sweet an there is a look out up there to :D

There is a new play centre called little legs , in Hill st near grand central ( can park under there an walk over ) park on the south side parkin there

they have another play centre on other side of town call scallywags , its Not to bad but rather little legs ;)

another fav park would be a park over near the race course , near whyalla plaza , but would have to look up the st for u , my kids did love it as had a big tall slide an a merry go round u push , not alot of shade there thou.

i have a almost 2 year old dd who will be 2 on the 28th and a almost 8 month ds old who is 8mths next monday. there names are skyla and daniel. and i am 22 by the way. Dp is 22 also.

i am up to meet at anytime.

Hi, i'm Brook.
Have a 2 year old..well shes 2 on the 15th Feb, and a 3 month old boy. Elise and Ash.

Ellie loves Queens park, it has all sorts of interactive activities and is huge! plus has some great coffee shops just across the road.

We moved here about 2 years ago, took some getting used to but we love it now. I've just entered the hectic world of childcare centres as i go back to work next month, having trouble finding one. Anyway, hope you enjoy it up here!

we're liking it so far....except everyone keeps mentioning how hot is has been......and i have been freezing! i have never worn jeans so much in the summer!
would anyone want to have a meet up? we're keen to go out to parks, but also happy to have people over here for morning tea, as it can be easier to keep kids coralled!
