Hi there.
Can anyone tell me at what age I can stop using cooled boiled water for mixing up formula? I am keen to start on normal tap water (ours is filtered through a carbon filter). My baby is now 9 months old. Your thoughts would be much appreciated. :D

I continued boiling water until I moved my son to normal cow's milk at around 11 months. I mix his juice with filtered water though. HTH!

I boiled my DD's water until 12 months. (thats the recommendation). However, if you have filtered water you probably dont need to.

I heard and have been told that 12 months is the reccomended time to stop boiling if you wish. But it is also highly reccomended to boil water until they are on either toddler formula or cows milk...
So yeah, hope that helps

Thankyou all for your replies. I'll keep on boiling away! I was hoping to finish up with the nusiance of it all but of course I want to do the best thing for bub. It's not that hard anyway is it? I guess we never know what gets into our water supplies... Who knows how old the water pipes are? Could be eroding and rotting away down there for all I know.
Thanks again, :D
