Does anyone know anyone who had complications with Herpes during labour?
I get flare ups (a legacy from when I was young and already knew everything) not that each bout is anything to really whinge about but I now know it can cause complications in neo-nates if passed on during labour.
I hear there's a medications one can take in the last trimester to control the outbreaks but medicine and pregnancy conjurs up thoughts of Thalidamide and birth defects.
I'm more interested in real life accounts than what a doctor can relate to me from journals of other doctors accounts. So........
Can anyone help put my mind at ease?!?
